Susan and Drew were married back in December 2007. I love looking back at their winter wedding photos because I love winter weddings! More people should consider eloping in Jackson, NH in the winter for a few reasons: Visually spectacular scenery, fun outdoor photos, romance abound, winter wedding discounts!

White Mountain Hotel unVeiled! Elopement Fun!

1/4/11 at the White Mountain Hotel, North Conway, NH. The minute I met Bill and Alison I instantly saw their connection. After 14 years they are still as in love as couples who are just meeting. They were so cute! I think Alison’s dress and veil were perfect for the day and the venue. She looked amazing! In house JP Dennis Duprey makes every couple feel at ease and his humor always makes us smile.

Nestlenook Farm Elopement: Jackson, NH

Happy Anniversary to Lindsey + Jason! They were married at Nestlenook 12/2008 and Lindsey was able to photograph someone else’s wedding at Nestlenook on 12/26/10! How fun she could share her love for the place she wed with another fun couple. There are tons of photo ops right on property, not to mention activities to do. Ice Skating, Sleigh-Rides, roasting marsh mellows, it’s really a one stop location for winter fun. They did open back up for winter 2009-2010 for activities only, and lets hope they do that again for 2011.

Jackson, NH, was perfect for the Christmas wedding we were looking for. And with Meghan’s knowledge of the area, eagerness to get the perfect pictures for us (which she did), and general flexibility and photography skill, we couldn’t be happier with our wedding pictures. She showcased a genuine excitement for us and gave us perfect memories of our perfect day in Jackson. – Lindsey & Jason

NH Elopement Specialist: Part 3

One of the things I pride myself on is making sure the couple has f-u-n when they hire me for an elopement photo and video shoot. I always gauge the couples personality, and if the tone is more “private and romantic” I can cater a softer side to that and offer up information and ideas on how to enjoy a relaxing getaway elopement night here in Jackson.

If I feel the couple is up for an adventure (weather depending) I’ll take them around town to some fun spots and show/tell them about things they can enjoy while they are here, or when they come back to celebrate an anniversary some year. When you hire me to capture your elopement or private ceremony, know that if you have a limited knowledge of the area, you will leave feeling like a local.
