If you are eloping, don’t shy away from picking up a boutonniere just because you don’t know how to pin one on! We no longer have an excuse. Everything you need to know in :55 seconds from Carrie Scribner of Dutch Bloemen Winkel, Jackson, New Hampshire’s premiere wedding and event florist.
Carrie Scribner, owner of Dutch Bloemen Winkel loves details, and loves customization. She can craft a bouquet to your liking, fitting not only seasonal flowers and styles but budgets and sizes too. Once you have your bouquet, don’t forget to personalize it. It may be something meaningful like Bride Julia did by attaching a special cross that belonged to a family member, or perhaps you have “something borrowed” from a great grandmother, like and old embroidered handkerchief. Whatever your personalization is, vendors will love it. It’s what makes your wedding experience uinquiely you :) Meg
Amanda and Nunzio celebrated on 5/1/10 at Jackson Falls and Whitney’s Inn with Kim The JP presiding. It was a really warm day out, it felt like summer. I just love their story – they met at at car event in the Pocono’s both hundreds of miles from home! They parked next to each other! Talk about wild timing! Thanks for allowing NH Elopements to photograph your day. Carrie from Dutch Bloemen Winkel did the flowers.
I always ask people if they are having flowers for their elopement, and sadly many think it’s not necessary. I genuinely think they are a great addition to your wedding not only to add a splash of color to your photographs, but to add personality and fun. You deserve to feel just as special as if you had 150 people surrounding you on your day, so why not take the opportunity to wear a boutonniere or carry a gorgeous bouquet?
